Sardar Vallabhbhai Regional College Of Engineering & Technology

Eligibility:Candidates must complete Higher Secondary (10+2) exam in Science stream with English, Physics, Chemistry, Maths and Biology from Gujarat Secondary Education Board securing 55% aggregate marks in theory papers of Physics, Chemistry, Maths, Biology and 50% marks in practicals in PCB. Candidates who have passed 10+2 from CBSE from the Institutions located in Gujarat should have taken Biology as an optional subject. A pass percentage is sufficient for SC/ST candidates. Candidates to he admitted at this Institution against the seats reserved for States other than Gujarat should have secured 50% marks (pass marks for SC/ST candidates) in PCM in an exam equivalent to the Higher Secondary Exam in the Science stream with English conducted by the Gujarat Board.

Application Procedure: Application form and prospectus can be obtained from the College on payment as prescribed. Completed application should reach the College by the notified date.

Selection: Selection is made based on merit in the qualifying exam and interview. Foreigners are admitted on nomination by the Government of India (Ministry of Human Resource Development, Department of Education, New Delhi)

Scholarships: 28 Merit scholarships and 57 merit-cum-means scholarships of the value of Rs. 125 pm are awarded.

Courses: The college offers am ME of 3 semesters in Civil Environmental Engineering; Water Resource Engineering; Structural Engineering; Town & Regional Planning Mech Mechanical General and Turbo Machines.
