Eligibility: Candidates must not exceed 22 yrs (27 yrs for SC, ST, Foreign students). Candidates must complete PUC or 12th std Higher Secondary exam or equivalent exam with English, Physics, Chemistry and Maths taken together in one attempt securing 60% marks in aggregate of Physics, Chemistry and Maths from institutions located in Bihar (For SC/ST candidates a mere pass in qualifying exam is sufficient).

Application Procedure: Admission form and syllabus for entrance exam can be obtained from the Principal, RIT, Jamshedpur on payment of requisite amount. Completed application along with demand draft for Rs 275 as entrance exam fee by bank draft should reach Bihar Council of combined Entrance Competitive Exam by the notified date.

Selection: Admission to 50% seats (Bihar Quota) in RIT, Jamshedpur and other Regional Engineering Colleges is made on merit in Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Exam (BCECE).(Refer State level common details under Bihar).
